Hello! Looking for a vaccine appointment? We’re here to help. Below are some tips for navigating the appointment system.

If you have any barriers to taking these steps on your own, or want any additional assistance, we are happy to help. Call (213) 986-7604 and a volunteer will help you book your appointment. Spanish and English speaking volunteers are available.

For booking your own appointment:

LA County’s VaccinateLACounty.Com portal has all the information you need.

Click through to make an appointment and expand:

#1 to see who is eligible,
#3 to see many appointment links, and
#4 to see what kind of documentation is needed.

The VaccinateLACounty website will direct you to the following links:

  • MyTurn.CA.gov (now translated into 12 different languages)
    This will show you:
CSULA (FEMA - Johnson & Johnson after 4/1),
Cal Poly Pomona (Kaiser - open to all - you do not need Kaiser insurance),
All 8 County Pods plus some smaller clinics. Mostly Pfizer.

This tool shows you what is closest to you and may sometimes exclude available appointments you are willing to drive to.
To see more options search for Pomona, Inglewood, Northridge, Valencia, Downey, Encino, 90032, and Lancaster.

For County and City POD phone help, call 833-540-0473.

LAFD sites mostly Moderna with some scattered J&J availability.

Includes Crenshaw, USC, San Fernando, Lincoln Park, Hansen Dam, Dodger Stadium, and Pierce College.

Kaiser is offering vaccines to both members and non-members at locations across the county including a mass vaccination site at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds in Lancaster.
    You can also call 1-833-574-2273.

To see a list of various LA County clinics and hospitals offering vaccines, click #3 Look for an Appointment, and scroll down to the clinic section to see all the different community clinics

Some helpful tips:

  • Appointments are often added outside of business hours, try mixing up the times you check. For example, many pharmacies post after midnight.

  • Appointments are not always added daily. For example, if they post LAFD appointments on Sun for Tue-Sat then you may not see more appointments added until that time period is over, so get to know the cycle of when things are released.

  • Try following Twitter accounts like @FindMyVaxLA_Bot or check websites like https://www.findmyvaxla.com/

And, here’s a video made by a GOTSLA volunteer that walks you through the process on the CarbonHealth appointment site: How to use the LAFD CarbonHealth Vaccine Appointment Portal

And once again, if you have barriers for doing any of the above, or need additional assistance, our volunteers are very happy to help. Call (213) 986-7604 and a volunteer will help you.
